For t-rigs and smaller jigs I use a Powell 703CEF and have it paired with a Curado e7 and 14lb FC. Works like a champ!

For the techniques you mentioned I use a Falcon Cara T7 CC-5-1610 Eakins Jig model, paired with a Abu Revo Premier 7.1:1. I use Seaguar InvizX 12#.

Oddly enough I've got mibasser"s reel on T5's rod...I like it.

I like a 6'9" MH-Extra Fast Carbonlite rod for my worming and light flipping and pitching (less than 1/4 oz.) in tight places such as docks and throwing around posts, and under piers. If I am making longer casts with t-rigs or jigs, I like a 7'0" MH-Fast Carbonlite rod. Both are mated with Carbonlite reels.

I use a rod with similar specs to MIbasser. My main t-rig and light jig rod is a Dobyns DX703C. 7' MH XF. The XF isn't a big deal and I actually prefer a F action in most cases.

X2 Until I started building my own rods this is what I used. Great quality for the price.
