Default Hummingbird wps60 Pro sixty - Keep or Junk?

My 'new' old boat that I recently purchased has a working (or so I'm told) Hummingbird wps60 PRO sixty depth finder mounted to the helm. Is this thing worth the weight/bulk to keep? If not, is the transducer re-useable for anything else? Right now, this is the only finder of any sort mounted to the boat.

see if it works first. then if you don't like it, sell it or trade it in on one you do like. the transducer should fit another depth finder i think. if i am correct there are only 2 kinds of plugs for depth finders. of course i may be wrong, usually am.

I have an Eagle FishMark 480 on a Pontoon boat (came with the boat) that I'm going to move to either the bow or helm of my Glasstream. Excuse my ignorance but what exactly does a flasher show you? I assume LED's light up in the circle? Seems primitive compared to today's technology, so is there any advantage to using one?

I aint gonna try and rip ya off Robert but I WANT THAT UNIT PLEASE!!!!!Let me know what ya want for it. Hell I will even get you another unit for the boat if you want. I am VERY serious about this. That is the ONLY humminbird worth a damn in my book. The Lowrance 1240 and the Super 60 floppy bird is the only units out there that are real time sonar for running at speeds and showing you a bottom depth. That unit is the one I cut my teeth on learning how to read sonars. I can show ya fish when running 65 on the unit. But I anint gonna fool ya it takes alot of time to learn how to use them. Thats the very reason they have been "put on the back shelf" because the LCG screens give you a picture and you have to interpret what the blips are on a 1240 or a super sixty. PLEASE PLEASE lemme know if ya want to get rid of it. Of course I will need the transducer, the operating switch and the unit itself. Looking VERY FORWARD to hearing from you.

I used one for years and once dialed in they can really work well.
The faster you go the more gain you give the unit. At 70 mph you can see a school of fish..But it is old school low tech stuff that 1Fast is willing to take off your hands..

Default Hummingbird Super Sixty

Looking for a transom mount transducer for my Hummingbird Super Sixty (Pro model - Hi speed). Don't want a new depth finder... mine is perfect and the new ones have too many gadgets that I will never use.
