Default Minn Kota Question??

Hey guys,

I don't have any idea on the lbs.thrust of the trolling motor on a new (to me) boat..I do know this much..bow mount, wired for 24V,minn kota Maxxum with a steel bullet (gear housing)..the thing is a freakin' beast of a trolling motor. I didn't measure the shaft..sorry..there's no serial numbers listed anywhere..It came on a 2000 Nitro Savage Summit Series 896. Does anyone know how I can find out..this is the first one I've had that has a steel bullet..any ideas would be helpful, it's more of a curiosity thing..I would feel kind of stupid if someone asked me or if I sell it with that trolling motor and don't know the thrust.

Well, if it's a 24V, I reckon it's somewhere in the range of 65-101#. Anything higher than about 101# (unless it's saltwater maybe), normally would use around 36V. Yet, I'm known to be wrong...
