Default Lake Seminole GA/FL

I got invited to fish a buddy tourny this Sat. Any recent fishing report will be appreciated.

I don't even know where we are launching yet (probably State park) and it's been 15yrs since I was on the lake!

Thanks in advance.

Rule #1, watch out for standing timber.

The most recent report I can give is 2 months old, I got a few on single blade spinnerbaits on the west side down towards the dam. Its not much I know, cause it wasnt exactly a tourney winning pattern.

Thanks WTL, I assume standing ready to fall timber?

I hope we can stay on main lake grass and catch um. No falling timber or time consuming stumps.

Let me know how you do. The timber can be under the surface of the lake even way out in the middle. The past two times Ive been on the lake I've hit some, once I got stranded for 35 minutes up on a trunk and just sat there. Actually bent the bottom of my boat a wee bit.

I like Seminole a lot, and would like to learn it better. Lots of nice places to stay on that lake too. Sneads is a good fishing town.

We love camping at 3 Rivers State Park by Sneads... we went there for 5 nights a few weekends ago and when I was bluegill fishing (only had light gear) had a few 3+ lb bass take my worm and snap the line... one I had about 2 feet from shore and he took off, but I got a good look at him...
Next time we go in spring or summer I plan to take my bass gear too and run the pads along shore with my frog and senkos...
