Has anyone ever used one of these?

Since I troll a lot, it's really bothersome to have to unclip from the lanyard when I hook a fish, so the boat can keep moving, and not foul all of my other lines.

I think this wireless thing would be great.

It is kind of expensive though, so it better work well.

Why not clip in an extra length of lanyard cord when you're trolling. Give yourself room to walk around but still work if you fall overboard. Seems more cost effective and one less electronic thing to worry about.

I'm with Top on this one. A 15' small diameter cord would work great. I know we are all in an electronic age but somehow I just don't think I could trust a sensor to do its job if I fell overboard. Lord knows my pc crashes enough....lol

I can't get this picture out of my mind - NFE walking around in a moving boat, trailing 20' of lanyard line, fighting a fish while dodging poles and crap on the deck. How can he avoid NOT going overboard? Go OVERBOARD the safe way and go wireless......................... then give US a report on how welll it works.
