Default I’m jinxed!!

Over here it is the middle of the spawn season water is 66 degrees and the moon is full. On my last two trips I caught one keeper fish!! Nothing smaller and no bloody chance of getting anything bigger!

I have thrown the whole tackle box in the water and …… zip!

I think my flukes are broken!! ;D ;D

Me too, Lou-just the nature of the beast, I guess. Actually, I've heard the best days regarding the full moon is three days before or after. You might try it again and see what happens.

Xmas at 95 to 100 degrees!! Great fun! Lets just say Santa Clause might be getting a bit hot!

Yep there is a lot of bass!! Don’t know when it was introduced but because it is an alien species the bass are really thriving in the water!

The very hot conditions and relatively low fishing pressure in some of the water makes for some great fishing!

Lots of talk for next world record to come from here.
(Hope it’s me!)

Winter was cool, think I was actually doing relatively better in winter than in the spawn

Your complaining about being able to fish year round...... Oh wait I can do that to. If you keep throwing your tackle box in the lake maybe the loud splash is scaring em off, also could get expensive. Like they said above Ive never done great around the full moon, except in a few bars. Before and after have always been pretty good by a couple a days.

IT would probably be a lot cheaper to just come down to fl in the winter and catch the hawgs here.

Yea I know it happens some times but it just suck when it happens to you. :'(

Like when your fishing with your buddy and your getting all the fish while you buddy doing the same thing inexplicably gets nothing, it's just hard to feel sorry for the poor bastard, but the tables turn. ;D

I fished a tourney today got a limit - two nice ones and three dinks but when I got back to the way station….. you should have seen the bags the other guys weighed… amazing!!
Felt like I’m playing in the little leagues!! :-[ Still it was great fun.

Worst is after the weigh-in I drove about 1 mile to where I launch my boat and BANG!! hit a submerged stump - hole in the left front of my boat!! Nearly sank the thing! Luckily I warned some other guys to avoid the same thing and raced to the nearby docks.
:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

My jinx is now getting serious!! Think I should stay away from sharp objects for a while. :-/

No more fishing till the boat get fixed!

how in the world did ya get a hole in your dug out ? man that had to be some stump.
personly i want to see ya hook a trolling moter to the bow of a dug out.

just stay in s.a. just so ya don't bring your jinx here.

by the way you describe the fishing a good bet would be that the spawn is almost over and the females the big bass go deep to feed heavily stop looking in 1-3 feet of water and start fishing in 5-10 feet -a crank bait is a solid bet.
