Default Craw bait

I made a couple modifications to a mold I made this week. Here is the craw I made, the craws will flare like that forever unlike most that only flutter when they are jigged... I think a slow slow drag on the bottom with this will be deadly.
FYI this picture is in a sink, under water no david blaine stuff here

You might have to pull a claw off in order to catch more fish ?A bass is more likely to eat a craw that isn't in the defensive fighting position. That is why tubes will catch more fish tan craws will when not used as a jig trailer.

Well, since PNJ mentioned that ive been spending some time today researching that. First off, I called 2 of my friends. 1 is a full time fisherman. He guides on some local lakes and makes a decent living at it. He said, both ways have their place. He thinks a lot of the time, if the pinchers were in the up position (defensive) it would trigger an anger strike. If the fish were not very active, and you had to coax them in to biting, the flat pinchers would be preferred.
I also dug out a couple of my in fisherman videos. Not that al lindner is the be all end all, but I have to think he knows his stuff. He mentions more or less the same thing, that the claws fluttering up, in the defensive position would make the fish mad.

I have no doubt there are many many instances where you would not want pincher up. Maybe half the time. Im just trying to offer a bait that offers up a selection for that other half of the time.

Someone requested some video, so here it is, straight from my bathtub, because its ohhhhhh icing and snowing up to 8 inches tonight.

I have to finalize the mold before I can begin selling them. As it stands its not quite complete. But i assure you, any bait in this craw mold I sell will have the same action. ill post more for sure when its ready for sale.
thanks

Im not really sure. Im really working on it hard, but with a full time network admin job, teaching a college course, and a bait business, the latter takes a back seat.
I will definately post when I have a good working model that ill sell

I didn't mean for you to think about altering your bait. I just posted it as another option for those who buy your baits if they aren't working particularly well on a certain day, but say a tube bait, or sweetbeaver type bait is.I have no doubt that they will work the way your mold is for most applications, there are times when the other will outfish the other and vice versa. In saying that, it is just what I have found to be true, taking in consideration that I am no Al Linder, thank god for small favors.Roflmao...P N J

instead of risking possible patent issues with that bait, I purchased another craw type bait mold, instead.
The action will be the same. the pinchers will still float. it just wont look visually 100% the same. I think it looks better.
Ive got some exciting things happening in the next month or so, so stay tuned
