Lazycricket, here are a couple of crude examples of how I rig a Tube with a Tubehead Jig.

The first one has been rigged Tex-Pos for weedless applications. one thing to remember is to make sure to stick the hook point completely thru at first then hide the hook point beneath the skin of the tube. This is called skinning, this will increase your hook up %. Also I prefer to use a softer tube, this will also help increase hook up %.

The second pic. show and exposed hook which is great when your swimming the tube with a yo-yo retrieve.

I hope this helps ya in catching that big ol' hawg!

my family owns a pond right near my house so i do alot of fishin in it and i usally have the best results with red shad worms. During the summer evenings i can kill em fishin a weightless watermelon red flake tikki stick..shallow diving crankbaits have also produced really well for me

i think the pumpkin seed finesse worms were the best choice.. i'm down to about half a bag and betwen the two of us they have been torn apart by fish hits

Bandit 100 crankbaits. they're amazing. Or a t-rigged 7" berkely power worm.

Sound like the one I fish a lot!

My fave lures are t-rigged baby brush hogs, t-rigged sweet beavers, and wacky worms, zoom finesse worms are best IMO wacky rigged.

Hope this helps,
