Default How much does your fishing license cost?

I have often wondered what an annual fishing license costs in the states the rest of you fish in, so feel free to share your 2013 cost if you feel so inclined. MN offers a "married couple angling" license, so it will cost $35 total for Kaye and me to get a license for MN fishing this year.

I will also buy a non-resident fishing license, which will cost $41 for just me alone.

How does your state compare?

$19 for Ohio and $35 for non-resident Michigan w/o trout stamp.

$12.50 (i think) in ALABAMA. that is JUST freshwater liscense. salt water is more, and commercial is also some more added.

$23.00, but I'm going to buy my lifetime license this year -- $110.00. If I live 5 more years it pay for its self.

Wisconsin
Fishing, Senior Citizen (65 years & older) $7.00

Fishing, Annual $20.00

Inland Trout Stamp $10.00

Fishing, Husband/Wife $31.00
Vets.....$3.00 and active free.
No lifetime option.

Illinois
Non-Resident Fishing License $31.50
Resident Fishing License $15.00

So I'm in at $61.50
and that's assuming I stay off of Lake Michigan....which I will.

I realized, I'm not an addict.
I'm just maximizing my investment

Too much, alot of our counties have permits you have to buy to fish the lakes in that county.
State resident permit-22.50
3 pole permit-6.50
trout permit-12.50
Wyandotte County boat/trout/fishing permit nonresident-100
Johnson County boat/trout/fishing resident-41
Wabunsee boat/fishing nonresident-90
State park year vehicle permit-20
Linn County year vehicle permit-15
All that to fish the lakes I normally fish throughout the year in the state I live in. Then I can get a Missouri nonresident permit for 42 and fish almost anywhere in the state and tack on a year of trout fishing for another 7.50, doesn't make any sense.

In TN, it's $28. That includes the small game hunting license. If you don't hunt....well, they don't split them up.

Seriously? $150? For a LIFETIME license? WOW, that's great! It costs $508 for a lifetime fishing license for ages 16-50 here.

$15 just for the basic license for freshwater. Not sure about saltwater and there's extra licenses to buy on certain game lands.

Indiana Resident - $17.00 (lifetime license no longer available to anyone )

Kentucky NR - $50.00 (I will probably just buy single day licenses @ $10.00 as I need them)

Tennessee NR (including trout) - $80.00
