Default What is the objects on Side Imaging?

I hope this picture shows up well. What is the stuff around the cursor? Kory and I think it looks like telephone poles but it is too shallow for that. I look forward to reading your thoughts and ideas. Thanks in advance.

Ok, it put the picture on here really small. Can someone tell me how to enlarge it?

Host it on Photobucket.com and then paste the IMG code in your message.

They look like utility distribution poles to me. Cross bars mean 3-phase power. No need to worry about getting a shock off of these though...I bet they're well-grounded.

That was my first thought too but the water is only 28 feet deep so I figured if that was the case they would probably be sticking out of the water, or at least close to it.

That was my thought but the cross pieces/bars appear to be evenly spaced. I wonder if it could be something that someone put out as a fish attractor.

To me it looks like a good place to catch a molly hog.

Next time hit 4way cursor then + and it will bring up the SI Zoom box. Due to the Depth and Area of Coverage they aren't that big. Can you get a view of one of them in SI Zoom? It should help tell the story...

Doh...I didn't pay attention to the distances and depth. Good catch.

Fence posts and barbed wire? And some rock. Looks like a good spot to fish.

Ky lake has some just like it but are old parts of bridges, concrete with rebar or steel struts or poles, some can be viewed at low winter pool, near the mouth of Big Sandy.
Others are on the flat just above where the islands are and have a pole sticking out at times.Standing rock bay has one visable and a flat just out form Birdsong creek has at least one.
When viewed on sonar look like either one pole sticking up or a crappie bed with spider legs(rebar),one also under the 79 bridge between third and fourth pilings, just waiting to rebar your boat
Definately man made whatever they are.
Since your located near the top bet it is ky,they didnt dredge the lake merely flooded it,and chock full of old foundations, bridges, roads, and at times semi complete buildings, the rr terminal being one just the other side of the rr bridge south of paris landing.Old towns exist under it flattened but there.
Bigbaddad those same lilly pads await any time you wish to try them, they are up and healthy, along with grasses in places.
