At that depth, a young grass bed. Don't think its a rock pile cause its not lit up like a christmas tree. Either way it's somewhere I'd fish if I were you, or at least drop a mark.

I see you were in 8 ft of water. I would have thought they might have been slightly larger images of tires[now that you said].

You have to look at area of coverage versus depth. I was scanning 100' to each side which determines size of the odbject not depth. I was covering 200' in the single path with this screen capture. in 8' of water. This is why Side Imaging is the most powerful tool...Coverage Area! Coverage Area no matter the depth. Think of 20 Degree 2D sonar in this image you would get about 2 3/4 foot of coverage area versus 200'.

I bet the catfish stack up around there in the summer for spawning. More guessing games please. I am actually learning some stuff about these hahahaha.
