B.A.S.S. Weekend Series
Anyone else besides me fishing the Bassmaster Weekend Series this year?
I'm still waiting on my A.B.A. membership to hurry up and get here so I can register.

Good luck Roy. I'm hoping I do well. The potomac ISN'T my favorite body of water up here.

Oh. The one I'm trying to get into is completely new, and has no adult club to sponsor it. My friend Lisa is the only sponsor we've got.

Vabass - Check out Orange County High School 4-H Jr. B.A.S.S. Federation Nation at http://eteamz.active.com/ocssanglers/
They should help you get something going. Check out their Outdoor show in March. Hef - BASS Weekend Series was created to counter BFL/FLW and now, just two years later, has been moved to the ABA (who as you know already have their own tournaments) to run. Doesn't seem to me that BASS wants to run the series but just have their name on it. BASS tournaments have changed a lot over the last 8 years and IMO not for the better. Check out Lake Anna & Potomac River Bass Series at http://www.laprbass.com/ |

HEF, I'm still waiting on my entry into the ABA so I can finish registering for the tournaments. While they lowered the price of entry, they counter acted by making you join the ABA.
I'm going as a boater this year, poor results last year. Drew a guy with the smallest boat with the smallest engine in the tournament. Granted its not how fast you can go but it's nice to have that speed when you need it. Now I can go as a boater, and take as much tackle as necc. !

I know what you mean. I'm still waiting on my stuff aswell. I do have a boater lined up though.
