Think noise and vibration-rattling baits like a Rat-L-Trap, vibrating baits like a spinnerbait with a big, single Colorado blade or a big jig or worm that will move a lot of water. Fish tight to the cover and try some real bright colors like chartreuse or Merthiolate.

Muddy water like that forces the fish to use their other senses, their lateral line in particular, so flash is not near as important as noise and vibration.

I like right where you are standing in the vegetation. Looks like lot's of great places for bass all over. Do some distance casting from farther away and work the edges there where your standing. Also the tree sitting in the water. Really there are lot's of spots I would hit. Stay out of the water you are fishing though. IE don't wade out close to where you are casting, cast at longdistance work your way out after you've made several casts. A fluke wokred along that shoreline should work well, and be weedless at the same time. Of course I'd have to throw a lizard also. Get all around those bullrushes/reeds/whatever they are sticking up. But cast from a distance before you get close to the shore, you will spook fish just walking up there.

Any thing that you want to up to certain items i.e. deep cranks.
Bass are prone to worms, spinnerbaits, top water, crankbaits etc...

That rod looks like it's not sturdy enough to be fishing that cover. It might just be the angle???
