Abu Garcia rebate

I'm having problems getting my jacket from Abu garcia. I mailed in a sales reciept, proof of purchase, S&H, and filled out all of the information on the coupon. They're saying the reciept is no good. It's the reciept I got when I purchased the reel so I don't know what else to send them. It's no big deal, I don't really need the jacket but if I am going to spend $200.00 on a reel I wish they would honor the rebate

. Anyone else have these problems?

i got long sleeve t-shirt when i bought my revos and they didn't give me any problems. i expected them to give me some problems over a few of them because i bought a couple off ebay but they never said anything. i am a huge fan of revos but with the amount of money these reel companies are charging you should get whatever promotional giveaways they are offering. i would call and raise hell until i got what i had coming.

Kory, you can bet they will hear more from me in the near future. I too love my Revos and plan to buy more if they can get this taken care of.

jackets, shirts, and sunglasses...... am i missing somthing because my boat is full of abu garcia reels and i have never gotten any thing free.

I would ask for a contact about the rebate offer. I would then express how you paid for the reel and was looking forward to showing off your new jacket to show all your buddies why you like the brand over others and how you were planning on buying again until you found that the company will not stand behind its own promotions.

Kinda sucks that they would do that to a customer. Not a good choice with the way things are going now a days.
Hope you get the jacket some how.

abu-garcia offers free stuff with a lot of their reels, at least the revos anyways. you have to send them the receipt and fill out a card that the retailer gives you. make sure and ask the retailer if they are offering any promotions because bass pro didn't offer that information, i just happened to see the offer in my bps catalog and asked the salesman.
