Welcome to the site. Not really a whole lot of info, such as WHERE you are would be helpful. But I like spinnerbaits, topwater, and plastics in and around weeds. If by dark you mean it has low visiblity than a Single colorado bladed spinnerbait, or a shallow diving crank(Mann's -1) with internal rattles, along with lizards, and zipper style of worms. Anything that moves more water, or has vibrations/noise would work well. But once you get into the weeds, then the bait being brought through the weeds themselves will attract the fish, so the rattles aren't a necessity. I also would suggest a good scent to help the plastics move through the weeds better. I actually like any cooking spray with Garlic flavoring.

Lizards

Welcome Southern, you'll find this forum friendly and informative. Enjoy.
I'm with Lizards. Dark or murky waters a great places to work spinnerbaits with a single colorado. Jigs with rattles and zipper type or paddle / curly tail texas rigged worms are also good. In the darker water, noise and water displacement are keys to entice a bass to bite. If grass is a real issue try a floating worm on a carolina rig or the old standby, the rattle trap. Good Luck.

if i were you i would throw a medium or no lip crank, trying to hit the legs of that
bridge at every angle possible, sometime they wont it,but then go to the right ten feet and see what happens

Plastics with little weight so as not to get hung in the grass. Will do well I assure you.

Is the grass closer to the bottom or on the surface? If it was on the bottom I'd get a crankbait that goes to that depth and knock it off the bridge pilings, if on the surface, weightless plastics.

ummm..........i guess i didnt read it correctly,i didnt see the grass part.this changes every thing.if the grass is near the bottom i suggest a 5 in stickbait wheightless, actually make that c-rig lizard in the bottom grass, and the stick
in the top grass.try to get a floating lizard.strike king 3x lizards float very well.but before rebasser says anything, they will start sticking after they have been in the water for a period of time.so have the extras ready
