I have only tried the Stren Superbraid so far, I have used powerpro on a friends rod, power pro was nice casting, but It just isnt my cup of tea anymore. Thats why I moved to a more abrasive resistant mono XT. I just like Mono's feel. I will probably have to try the braid again, but last time I used it I was dissapointed.

Power Pro is good for heavy cover or muddy water but for mono I would have to say either Big Game or Red Cast. Red Cast is strong and is the best casting.

I love POWER PRO! My baitcaster will use nothing less.

To me, Power Pro is only good on a spinning outfit. I put PP 20lbs test on my Daiwa and it seemed to dig in to the spool too much on the fight.

Next cast I have to strip off almost all the line, or birdnest.

I love the strength of powerpro, but to me, it can be a bit tedious at times.

I use Power Pro on all of my baitcasters. It casts really well and is very very strong and abrasion resistant.........
But with mono the only thing I use is Cajun Cast........
