The pro's got it made. Ike has FOUR Lowrance units wired it, not to mention RADAR, dual power poles, THIRTY rods in the port locker (I thought I had too many) yeah not comming out of HIS pocket. Swindle has a spare trolling motor ON BOARD? I doubt they would have all those goodies if THEY were paying for it out of their own pocket. No way a weekender paying his own way could outfit their rigs in a similiar fashion, unless they hit the lottery. Those set ups are certainly excessive for the weekender, but if your livelyhood depends on it, maybe not so much. Interesting, but no way I'm going to try to keep up with them when it comes to equipment.

Now good information I gained and wish I had found it sooner - Swindle and his TWO dual bank chargers, rather than one 4-bank. Made a lot of sense and if one goes down it would be cheaper to replace, I thought about that when I replaced my on-board charger last spring, but ended up with three bank for the trollers and a single for the cranking battery. Similiar thoughts as to Swindle, just a different combo.

Those were entertaining. Showed a couple to Pam to prove the "it's all relative" point.
Interesting to hear some guys want more weight in bow others in the stern.
