Default What to buy with gift certificate?

I have a $50 gift certificate to Cabela's. I plan on buying a 25 yd spool of the PLine CFX fluoro leader - $7.29 (backordered ).

What else should I get with the rest? I was thinking about a few baits and some "knick knacks". I do not want to spend more than $50 and I have to pay for shipping ($7.95) since it would be an online order. Any ideas?
Please don't suggest to use money towards a rod or reel. I have those on my Santa list.

My preliminary thoughts are maybe some of these -
- Gammy octopus 1/0 circle hooks for catfishing ($7.39 for box of 25)
- A neoprene spinning reel cover to protect my spinning reels ($4.99)
- I was thinking about a few jigs. I don't fish jigs often so some basic ones to have if I get the itch would be nice. Maybe a Northland Whistler Jig ($3.29)?
- Gulp Alive Spray ($8.99)
- Lindy No Snag Rig Kit ($21.99)
- ???

I just now saw that in order to place an order for an item that is on backorder I have to order at least 3 of them. This is the case for the PLine fluoro leader and the gammy octopus hooks.

This is a question I've often pondered myself. And I have a simple aolution to your problem. I'll send you my address and then you won't have to worry about how to spend that pesky gift card.

Actually, I find the best way is to go to the store and buy whatever the monkey throws at ya. And trust, me that card (and any extra money you bring along) won't be there for long.

Oh, and with the jigs, if you don't get them from C-rig, go with the Booyah jigs. They are my personal favorite store bought jigs, and they recently came out iwth two new models.

This is what I ended up ordering -

1 Lindy No-Snagg Center Slip Rig Kit @ $21.99 each
In stock-Approx delivery Fri 9/19

3 P-LINE CFX FLUOROCARBON LEADER 15 LB @ $7.29 each
Backorder-Tentative arrival to Cabelas 09/23/08

1 Gamakatsu Circle Octopus Hook 1/0 @ $2.49 each (6 hooks in a box)
In stock-Approx delivery Fri 9/19

1 Gamakatsu Circle Octopus Hook 8 @ $2.49 each (8 hooks in a box)
In stock-Approx delivery Fri 9/19

Total price including shipping - $56.79

I know I will use the fluro leader a lot since weightless plastics is what I fish with 95% of the time. I got the No-snagg Lindy kit since I am going to devote some serious time to C-rigging during the cold season. The 1/0 octopus hooks are for catfishing and the size 8 octopus hooks are for blue gill and brim fishing with the daughter.

I found it interesting that the P-Line was backordered yet expected delivery date is just 4 days later. I think it maybe a trick that Cabela's is using to force you to buy more than one spool. No matter. I know I will use them.
