This is a BASS Fishing site, but anyways I fish a local reservoir in the early spring, and late fall, and they are all up shallow down the bank from some riprap and some old shrubs. All I do is throw a yellow, chartruese, or white crappie jig down the bank with a split shot 6 - 8 in. up the line and about 1.5 to 2 ft. under a bobber. I caught 62 Crappies in one day on the same day. I also have good luck with the Mini Tubes in Blue/White.

heres wat you do,get a small !!!!!hollow!!!!!bobber and make small hole in with a drill bit, then but about ten bb's in close it with some wood glue, then let it dry. and behold, the rattlin bobber then gat a small jig,(the one with fethers on it) and tie it on
put about two feet in between the lure and the bobbe. Then cast out. Let it stay still
and wait for the the ripples to clear up. Then titch it and let sit and reel, and just repeating the process, and about where those fish are, just listen to rrw said

Fish deeper water like 10 to 20 feet deep around submerged cover like timber or rocks and channels with jigs or minnows............. I have great success fishing these kinda areas in the summer.........
