i pursanuly believe tht a rly big worm is the goodest way to catvch big fsh but sme ppl tlk alot abiuout a whiz bang and i thnk tht might cathc the best bass.

I would go with a spinnerbait because it is the most versatile lure and it good for almost any condition and is a very good at the edges of cover or over it.
