Default Members in tornado alley check in.

A lot of severe weather this afternoon and evening. I am hoping all our members in the areas hit will check in as soon as they are able to. Stay safe and prayers sent for all of us in the area of this severe weather.

I've just watched the news here, and there is big news of an F5 catagory tornado has whacked state of oklahoma pretty bad, videos of buildings and schools totally destroyed and reports of power and water shortages. I wish anyone across the pond all the best, especially if they & their family have been unlucky enough to have been hit by the tornado.

It's about to get hairy here in my neck of the woods. Probably about an hour or two. Kory, you alright? Heard a tornado warning in Lamar right now.

Pray tonight guys. 24 kids are reported to be dead at the bottom of an elementary school. This is going to be worse than Joplin and Tuscaloosa.

I've been watching this unfold all night and I'm not ashamed to say I've shed a few tears. The devastation and lives lost just breaks the heart. Especially the childrens lives that have been lost. It's the worst news those parents will ever get. So many have lost everything, and will have to now try to begin anew from nothing. My thoughts and prayers are with those folks tonight.

Yeah man, we are all ok and thanks for asking. There was a tornado warning in Lamar earlier this evening and then a few other warnings in our area. We were a little unsettled with the warning in Lamar because my wife's family lives there but all is well up there. We actually had an EF1 here last night that blew over a huge tree in our yard but no serious damage.

I can't express how bad my heart aches for the community of Moore Oklahoma. Being so close to the Joplin tornado has showed me just how brutal this is going to be on everyone down there. I will probably spend a lot of time fighting back tears while watching Lake play and sleep, just like I did after the Joplin tornado. Prayers for everyone down there.

Storm made it through last night. No tornado warning was issued for my county but we did have high winds and cloud to ground lightening. Dad (who is just south of me) had some branches blown from a few of his trees but no structual damages to his house or any of his buildings.

Prayers to those in Moore, Oklahoma and others affected by this storm system.

Sending prayers.
Here's a small glimmer of good news from the rubble:
