definitly a spinner bait!!! I like white with a silver and gold willow blade. I try to run it on top and give it some jerks so it triggers the bass to look at it.

Another vote for spinnerbait or crankbait. Tough to beat a chrome/blue back trap.

depending on water temps you could also throw a topwater prop bait or buzzbait.

I vote to go to the non-windy shore and throw flukes.

Why limit yourself to the universe, how about "best fisherman on the other side of the worm hole".

Wow I see from the responses that no one would do what I do. I would throw a 3 foot long carolina rig and a 1 once weight. Straight shank 4/0 hook and a sweet Zoom fire tail lizard.

I guess I do things different.

Interesting idea, Mike-never would have thought of that. I'll tuck that one away for future reference. Thanks!

Mostly I use a 1/2 oz weight LOL. And of course sometimes I go with a BLACK LIZARD, or a 4" worm/fluke/crankbait/craw, depending on the fish's mood I also prefer spinning on my c-rig pole I don't throw a spinnerbait long, either they want it or they don't If they aren't hitting it hard and quick I switch up quickly. I don't beat cranks to death either.

Believe it or not, I throw a Senko and let it naturally drift through the weeds or whatever else. I've caught many fish like this even in Canada where it's always windy. Other choices = 1/4oz. J&P, crankbaits.
