Default Going Fishing Tomorrow

Well now that spring has officially started, i am off off my first fishing day tomorrow. I was just wondering what some of the best lures to use are. The high temp is 38 degrees and overcast, with a sprinkle or two. I am fishing a small reservoir in Shelby, Ohio, it has little ot no cover, and rocks around the side. Please Reply. I need help!!!

all you can do is just fish your confidence spots and your confidence lures....I can tell you that you need to fish slow.....But, if that isn't prducing, then just go and fish fast, like rip a spinnerbait.....it might produce well

well, if it has no cover, i would go with a crankbait in crawdad that runs deep enough to hit the rocks. and minnow type baits around drop offs. u didnt say the water color. and what ever you use, use it slowwwly. hope it helps.

What is the water temp-this time of year that is the most critical aspect regarding what to use IMO.

Dead stick flukes, and a YUM Crawbug t-rigged with a small weight. Slow is the key, and the around the rocks, work the crawdad. Find the points and hit those, or any humps. If the water has been warming there will be some up shallower, but the channels, drop off's and points in a little deeper water has been the ticket in Indiana. Wouldn't think it would to much different than here. Hit every piece of wood you can find, and the hit it again with a different bait, suspending cranks, are the ticket, they aren't chasing to much, you need it in their faces and slow.

I'd tie on a suspending jerk bait and suspend it right in the basses faces. Use light jerks once you get the bait at the correct depth, and use long pauses.

don't know the type of water but here in idaho the water is 47-49 degree's. and the water is clear. Â*have been catching some pigs on cranks firetiger colors parallel casting banks at around 5-10 feet of water.

start with your go-to baits to find them and impravise from there!!
