I caught 2 around 8lb LM at a same spot in 30 mins this summer. It was a rainy afternoon; and I used a black 3/8 spinnerbait with steady retrieve. The bass were kinda too old! lol, cuase there were not big fights!
One month ago, I landed a 6lb SM on St. Lawrence river by using wacky rigged senko(weightless). Any way, I heard some guys said that live bait is the most effective bait to catch huge bass. |
