the handles are plenty long,maybe it was just the pics. they are fine though,like any regular name brand,i fished one.

Jools-the only rods with a 6" handle are usually 6 footers, so you should be fine with anything longr than that.

Well, now I'm just going to have to wait to pick untill I can go to Bass Pro Shops. It's about an hour away from here.
Do you think they would have the same equipment at Sportsman's? I live about a mile from there. |

well,probably not. the reel maybe,but the rod no. i would just go to bass pro so i could hold the combo and see if ya like it. check out some other combos also,like the extreme combo,thats a really good combo for $120.

You will be able to tell. Actually this change from a cheap rod to to any rod over $50 you will be a big difference. Spend that extra cash and go catch a BiG'N.

7. A 7-6 is usually reserved for a flipping stick, and I find a 7 is just easier to handle.
