Default whats your favorite style.

whats your favorite style of fishing? my two favorites are pitching/flipping wood and grass. and frogging in heavy slop.

i love the feeling of setting the hook with braid when pitchin. but its tough to beat pullin a fish out of the God awful slop in the heat of summer with a spro frog.
how bout yall?

My favorate has to be big swim baits. While the strike rate is much lower on them than any other, the stirkes are amazing. Bass just dont make subtle stikes on an 8 inch bait.

Topwater poppers definitely! But maybe that's partly because the conditions aren't right for it very often. I also love deep crankin' and T-rigging worms. Hopefully, I will incorporate jigging into my repertoire soon and love it too.

I have three techniques I'd call my favorites. Spinnerbaits, surface baits, and crankbaits. When the frog bite is on I really enjoy the blowups as I'm sure everyone in here does. While I'll use slower techniques like wormin, jiggin, and finesse, I really don't enjoy those styles. I'm more of the run and gun style fisherman.

I am the same as MM. Love the rush of a bass exploding on a toad in the pads. Cranking is really begining to be fun, especially with the lipless sexy shad this year.

ive had the most luck with spinnerbaits, but this season ive made the move over to using more soft plastics and looking forward to adding the Dropshot to that list.. i like T-rigging worms weightless too, had some success with that this year as well.

crankbaits on windy chunk rock banks and points and a jig on points and deep ledges.

Hands down, assuming favorable conditions, there is nothing that competes with the sheer pleasure of watching bass nail a topwater bait. Best of the best is whan a bass "skyrockets" a topwater bait - leaps out of the water and lands mouth-first atop it.

After that, I personally very much enjoy throwing spinnerbaits, since no other single lure allows me to quickly fish the entire water column in search of bass. Roland Martin didn't win all those top torunaments on spinnerbaits for nothing.

my favorite style of fishing 'eh.... I'd have to go with catching!

All kidding aside, I would have to go with worming and frogging!

Late after noon, early evening popping by the lilly pads. Pitching a beetle spin by the docks would be a close second.

man i like my worming and plastics....something about the slow retrieves and techniques that go into them.....Im very patient........(and of course catching the bigger bass on them)

I love lures too....but i always look more foward to tying on a 7'' u tale or power worm....

U should try throwing a white frog instead,bc if you get a hook in them, they wont shake it like a spook and u can reel them straight into the boat with 80lb braid, swing a 6lber over the rail!

Lately, I've been throwing a Rage Tail frog more than anything, so I guess that's been my favorite. Before this year, though, the spinner bait was my favorite.

Big Waldorf Hairbugs on an 8 wt. is my number #1 favorite.

But, I am torn between False Albacore on a 9 wt and Big Reds in the surf w/ 8n Bait as my second..
