Talking You and me goin fishin in the snow?!?!?

Today I fished in the snow for the first time and it was absolutely wonderful. We were fishin a little lake in Gentry AR called Swepco (for the powerplant next to it) The water was about 70 with an air temp of about 33. We boated about 10 in the two hours we were out there including a nice 3 1/2 pounder. The only thing we could get to work was the topwater bite (buzz, jitterbugs and spooks) absolutly nothing on cranks or plastics. Is this probally due to the water temp or is this fairly normal?

Welcome to the forum!

Most likely the water temp is the reason for the topwater bite. A topwater bite when it is snowing-that would be a real experience.
