Default New Personl Best!!

Well, I was out fishing with bender in the Tuesday night tournament and not having much luck until this guy hammered a spinnerbait. My previous big was 3.66 and this one came in at 3.92. We finished 4th (thanks to bender for bringing in the two other bass), but we won big bass which was better money then 2nd place.

Very nice. From the picture I would have guessed the guy was around 4.5. Still a very nice catch. Congratulations.
What was your total weight for the 3 fish?

We had 7.61. It went 9.31, 7.99, 7.64 so we were close....

Nice fish man I would have though it was bigger as well , but there is nothing like beating your best and the feeling that goes along with it .

We both thought it was a lot bigger too, maybe my buddy the director had his thumb on the scale when he zeroed it. That fish looked like a solid 5, I should have checked it on my hand held scale too I guess. I think we would have been second easily if I hadn't missed those last 5 or 6 hits on topwater and shaky head right at the end.
The lake is fishing tough right now and a 9+ pound bag is very good, the week before it only took 5 something. Later this fall it should take 10 to win regularly. The guy who won is on the FLW tour and several of the other guys are very good also. Andy and I had a good bag and it was a pleasure to fish with him, one day soon we will win that thing.
