Hello, I'm from N.J. by Trenton. I have been having some poor luck but yesterday I went to a little pond by my house and caught 5 in an hour they were all small but its still more fun than none.

yeah, it is especially when you use an ultra light rod and reel. I had alot of luck with that yesterday evening using a 1/16 - 1/8 oz rooster tails. ;D

I've been fishing the waters around the Woodbury, NJ area with good results. I've been using pumpkin or watermelon colored U tailed Zoom worms.

I am going to go to the Delaware after work. Does anyone have any suggestions on lures. I am going to fish from the pilons under the washinton crossing bridge the water is from 4 - 6 feet deep and the current is fairly quick. Any help would be great. Thank you. ;D

Try a Senko or zoom fluke or creature bait t rigged or on a 1/4oz jig head. Or you can even try a tube bait. Send it on a 45 degree angle into some deeper holes downstream and drag back up real slow... the angle helps your bait sink and not just get carried with the tide. also casting downstream keeps your line tight but not too tight to give you an advantage in feeling a fish hit.

It's that way here in Jersey for me. Be it the delaware, a stream, a lake, pond or the ocean I can't get enough. Before work, after work, and weekends. I still do other stuff but sometimes. There is always something that I could have done or need to improve on to improve my catches. It will starts getting late and my girlfriend is waiting at home and that one last cast will turn into another hour. All I can say is I love fishing. ;D
