well, you can use cheese, bread, hotdog, stuff like that, but its more then likely going to get picked apart by bream before a bass gets a look at it. i would go out and invest in some artificial worms. and you will gradually work your way up to more and more stuff. i would tie that spinnerbait you have on and fish that instead of live bait.

chris, i'll show you all you need to know to begin. don't waste any money on live bait. You'll catch more softshell turtles than anything else.

worms are good, if you don't want to get your hands dirty digging for them, you could catch some lizards, being in central florida, I'm sure you can find some on the sidewalks. are there any pet fish in the house, gold fish and beta fish are AWSOME bass bait, just don't get caught by the law as its illegal (goldfish are somewhat of an invasive species).

I dunno... I T-rig alot, but at the right times in the right spots, nothing out preforms a wacky rig.

Goldfish were going to be my live bait suggestion, too. But make sure that they are legal for use in your state. They are legal here, but I know in some states they aren't.

Just the other day I caught 3 nice sized bass with a Slip Bobber, 3 Split Shot Sinkers, and a size 4 hooks on a leader. I hooked a Nigthcrawler (Whole Thing) right through the nose and no bream even bit on it when it was hanging down. ???

If they aren't working then it's your presentation, or you are throwing them where the Bass aren't. They do work, I GUARANTEE IT

Lizards

I like wacky-worming plastic worms, but of coarse, t-rigging them is a deadly technique. Each is better in their own circumstances. Like liz said, the plastic lizards work....it's prolly just a small problem with your presentation.

BTW, I think I'm gonna go get me some goldfish ;D...Nvr thought of using them for live bait....

Catch em up

If you got some decent rocks in the shallow parts of your lake or a stream close by, lift those babies up and catch yourself some crayfish, they work great, the little critters will leave them alone too.

I can already tell him, they are illegal to use in florida.

Its florida, there are no rocks anywhere. There are crawfish, but you'd have to uild a crawfish trap and its more trouble than its worth.

Wow no rocks, never been there, must be nice and easy to dig up a garden then.

You could do a one time investment in one of these http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catal...=SearchResults

And just use some table scraps and stuff for bait, or catfood if you have it.

there are SOME rocks. not many around here. but there are a few that were put down in man made lakes(lake underhill) along the shoreline. up in n. florida you will see alot more rocks. especially at the rock pits (duh) BTW, like rob said, gold fish are illegal here, and are in alot of other states.
