Default Sights set on another one

I know I am getting about as bad as some that talk about stuff they have never laid their hands on, but I have my sights on another on. 2010 XPress H18- Yamaha VMax 150 - MK #70 TM - Bird 788ci.

The boat is less than 500 yards from the house and a guy that does some work for me from time to time stopped by and told me about right before I left for Israel. I went and looked at the boat and got shivers because I knew what it was going to cost or in the vicinity. But he surprised me with a quote about 6-7 grand under the NADA. I have badgered my wife so much, she finally said if are going to get one, get one and STFU. Well she didn't say that, but she was thinking it.

But the guy also works offshore in the Gulf of Mex and I messaged him yesterday and asked if I could take it to the Xpress dealer and get it checked out. He told me he had plans to do it when he got home a week after me, but if I wanted to get it and take it to go ahead.

So maybe this time...maybe this time, it is about to happen.

Good luck, Bubba. I know you've been wanting one for a long time now.

Bryce, they had a smoking hot Avalanche on Ebay the other day in TX with a 175 on it. It was just a little out of my range for travel, but I looked long and hard. It would be tough to drive that far to get there and find a deal breaker.

Just curious. How much did they want for it? And what year was it?

Good luck buddy, I know how long you have been hunting for a boat. I don't know much about Xpress boats but I fish against a guy who has one with a 225 on it. Not sure what lenght it is, and I kinda try to avoid the guy because he is a knucklehead, but he really seems to like it. From everything I hear, they are the top shelf for aluminum boats.

Bryce, I think it was an a blue 2007 and the last time I looked it was around 14k. I don't think the reserve had been hit yet though. It had a ton of pictures though and clean as a whistle.

I hope it all works out for you. Looks like a sweet boat for sure. Does it have plenty of room for all my tackle? Just in case I happen to get down your way.
