Bluebasser's submission, minus the pictures.

She fought forever and was barely hooked when John got her in the net. First time I weighed her she went 8.01 but when I weighed her with the camera she went 7.76 so I'm guessing she must have had some water in her mouth or something? Great fish either way. 22" long, 17" around on a chartreuse/black back Spro Fat John crank. 124/184=67%

Ok anglers,

I don't beleive blue is the only one bass fishing right now so....

LETS SEE THE FISH!
And someone transfer blues pic here, it really is a PURDY FISH!
By my calculations, Wisconsin Math, a 3/4 ounce Bass fry would be a solid SECOND place right now.

so...

LETS SEE THE PICTURES!

I left PA off the list, my apologies Bob. Take a look and make sure I didn't leave anyone else's state off the list. Also, I tried to go to each state's website and get the record weights, if anyone has any disagreements, let me know.

Bluebasser has set a lofty goal for us to reach, fish hard and lets give him a run for the custom rod!!

I would love to see everyone's fish but let's try to keep this thread uncluttered so the entries don't get confusing. Please only post here if you have a fish to enter into the contest.

Thanks guys, good luck!!

I know other guys are catching them, like Joe said anything puts you in second right now. I got a real pretty 20" 4.39 pound fish Thursday, can I enter twice

I'm going to go ahead and post Bluebasser's other pics of the weight. This is a good example of how your pics should be. Take as many as possible so there aren't any questions about the validity of your catch.

Ok here is my entry. I caught this fish while sight fishing a small lake north of here this past weekend. She weighed 9.50lbs and I took several pictures but I didn't have anything in the boat that was long enough to measure her (John Seaver, keep your mind out of the gutter ).

9.50= 152

152/222=64%

Very nice fish. Couldn't even imagine getting one like that off a bed. I think the fact that your fingers don't even reach halfway up her side kind of speaks for itself on the girth of that fish despite not having a measurement. Great job!

Awesome catch Kory! She's a toad! You guys are setting the bar really high. We now have a very solid first and second place.

Bluebasser86 at 67% and Carolina-Rig-01 at 64%

Kory great fish and great fun!

Call me weird but this contest has NOW gotten really EXCITING!
Keep raising the bar anglers cause MY season opens SATURDAY!
The records in Wi. have stood since the 50's and I'm looking for them to fall THIS YEAR!
Kory, Clayton thank you very much for the competition. This is exactly what contests are meant to be...COMPETITIVE!

Kory the only thing I had hoped was your big monster could have been had on your tourney trail.
Your going to spank them this year AND your beautiful wife willing to share her knowledge with you on the couples circut...wow what a year it's going to be.

And Clayton.......your just a fishing DEITY in my book!
Thanks ANGLERS!

Catch a good one today. 5lbs 7oz - 91.3 oz = 50.50%

Was 23" length and 15" girth, didn't get it in a picture cause I wanted to get it back in the water... but a weight calculator say's that's 6.6 pounds, but the scale says differently!

Nice catch Sammy! Sorry I'm just now seeing it, my computer died last week.

I've got to get in on some this big bass action!

It is nice, you are correct in that guesstimate bass records indicate lighter much lighter about 7.5,I would check my scales as should not be a 2lb difference.Same guesstimate website guessed mine at 23 within 1/4 lb last year it was 7 1/4.

Sam I got to ask....how do you keep a white fishing shirt so white.
Heck I put on brand new white socks and they will be dirty before I even get my shoes on!

And GREAT WISCONSIN bass!
Oh and that scale seems familar. I'm glad to see you get to use it!

I've never seen a scale that gives the weight in ounces instead of pounds and ounces, and I'm not sure how the 5lb 7oz comes into play since 91 ounces = 5lb 11oz.

I've had a rough Spring so far. With the unusually cold weather I've only gotten on the water a handful of times. My biggest fish so far is only 19 inches and under 3 pounds. I fished a spring tournament and didn't land a fish over 2 pounds. The other tournament I had planned fell through due to my fishing buddy's mother-in-law passing away. Also canceled was my smallmouth trip to Lake Okoboji - probably my best chance to catch a bass over the 60% mark. On the bright side, if karma repays me for all the bad luck I've had so far this year, I should easily break my state record!
