They may not be my favorite, but I catch alot of bass on those generic spinnerbaits they sell for $1......I modify the buzzbaits slightly to keep the prop from hangin up when its cast, but for the money they are hard to beat.

War eagle is my favorite as well but the only problem is after you catch a big fish the wire wants to break

Get some Owner trailer hooks. Short strikes will be a thing of the past.

Booyah or Strike king (with the Perfect Skirt) I think the Premium Plus and the new KVD Spinners have them. I'm gonna get me some of the new KVD ones this summer.

At one time, my favorite spinnerbait was made by Terminator. The style I used then they no longer make. They had a tandem spinnerbait with a wide willow called the turleshell style I believe, and a colorado behind it. Gold blades and a white skirt and I was happier than a kid with a litter of pups. The last couple years I've been making my own, thanks to the guidence of Reb. I've been so happy with how my own creations catch bass that I havn't bought too many off the shelves since. However, I am very impressed with the Strike King KVD versions. Very good quality from what I can see. However, due to what I've read in this post, I am going to be sure to buy a couple War Eagle spinnerbaits this spring to give those a try.

Yeah they were bama. I still have a few that I guard with my life. Does anyone remember the old Fleck brand of spinnerbaits that came out in the 70's? Those spinnerbaits were my first, and to this day one of my favorites. Am I showing my age? lol

I've been a Booyah guy for a while, also picked up a couple of the KVD's recently. I haven't seen or tried any War Eagles yet, but I'm with Keith, I may have to get a couple now.

Revenge baits. The head and 3-D eyes are top notch.

I picked up a couple of Hart Thumpers today. They have a willow and colorado attached to one another via a rivet. These things put out huge vibration.
