Wow!!! You got pics of you all time!

My all time, something like 8lbs I think, 22", it was so long ago I still had no clue about girth, but it was a big fat one, so I say 8lbs, but it was 3yrs ago, so it's just a guesstimate! But that was on a Rapala - Glass Shad Rap, in blue glass shad color!

This year 20" long 16" girth---6.27lbs, on a baby brush, I cast and got a backlash, reeled up, line was tight, I set the hook, and comes a pig! it was the first day of 09 btw the avarge size bass out of their is this small.

Florida’s certified state record is 17.27 pounds. But their have been bigger!

I must say that this is my fourth year I havenīt caught a single bass of 10 pounds or more, well, havenīt fished much either so it comes as no surprise.

Now, my biggest was 13.86 lbs, havenīt been able to break my record, but if I havenīt fished much then I canīt expect it to happen in the short term.

What sucks is now that I have everything I need ( boat, truck and tackle ) to go and catch me biguns I fish a lot less than when I didnīt have everything to do it.

Sometimes I miss being a poor single student with lots of extra time to go fishing on a more regular basis.

Don't feel too bad, the 12,453 number was just an estimate. You see when I landed the fish, it was enough to cause the earth to shift 3/4 of an inch on its axis. This prompted the men in black helicopters to show up, and one of their scientists promptly guesstimated the fish's weight at that number before declaring me to be undoubtedly the greatest fisherman of all time.
