Default Spinner Q?

What is the best all around wieght for a spinner being fished in the Mississippi River. 1/4 oz.....3/8 oz.......1/2 oz

I would say at least 3/8 but if there's strong current 1/2.

What Curado said, but let the conditions dictate it. If you have slack water you can use smaller baits and still control them.

I prefer the 1/4 on calm days lesser splashes on enrty! but you got to play it by sight and feel. each condition calls for a different weight. an unanswerable question.
