I'm in college. I'd like to be a sportswriter, but failing that, any kind of writing that isn't going to bore me to absolute death.

Well I guess christmas tree lot salesman could be a springboard to a new exciting career.
Who knows maybe lot supervisor, then move up to full blown liberal sitting in trees saving the planet one tree at a time. A congressional appointment as tree czar...it could happen. Hey! Seriously if you can sell christmas trees in Florida, you can sell snow to penguins. Good luck, just know I am trying to be funny and it rarely works!

In all seriousness, what DO you southerners do for Christmas trees? Buy fake plastic ones or something?
Up here there are people who grow them and sell them. Some people grow their own in the backyard. Then again, we have a lot of pine trees up here in the "Pine Tree State" (who would guess?) |

We buy 'em from the people that grow 'em up north. I personally have a fake one thats 9' tall since it quite expensive to buy one that big every year.

I'm a truck driver. Everything from a 32' box truck to a set of 28' twin trailers. Used to be Overnite Transportation but we were bought out by UPS last year. So pnj and everybody else givin me down the road kiss my ***. Nah just jokin I dont drive the little brown truck they call us UPS Freight. As far as deliverin to a post office I doubt very seriously that anyone will do that because for starters your local post office officials won't want that responsibility. Let's stop and think if you got a Calcutta TE comin and your postmaster is a fisherperson and he sees that Bass Pro box what makes you think your gonna get it anyways. Uhh I never signed for that somebody musta forged my name. Guys you wouldn't believe the crap I've had to deal with on home deliveries and just tryin to get some body at a business to sign for somethin is like tryin to get a act of congress passed. So all I can say in closing is "Remember this if you eat it, drink it, wear it, use it, or got it, then a truck brought it." Just be thankful some of us are crazy enuf to climb up in them things and drive em.
