Beautiful pics of the fox and deer, too. Very nice.
It took me and my brother (right) to fused all of them together whole day til 4 in the morning and finish the rest (on shells in tubes) next day on the 4th. Painstaking. The show lasted 14 mins non-stop. It was worth it.

Kingfisher, awesome painting! Wish I have the ability to paint like that. Have you try custom paint a crankbait? If not, you gotta

Christopehr, cool plane. I've looked into getting hydro plane few years ago but haven't got around to it because I think I got enough hobbies.
Hydro plane are awesome, in air, on water, on land all in one.

I have not airbrushed a crankbait yet, but its on my ta-do list for this year.....not sure if i'll order some blanks or just try and repaint something outta my tacklebox yet but i'm gonna see what I can do to one just fer grins. I've seen some really nice custom painted cranks so i've gotta try.

Check out Jann's Net Craft for crankbait bodies.

Don't forget to share when you get them painted.

Oh! I forgot!

I love to driving around with my dad and getting junk off the side of the road. Either old furniture that you can fix up, or stuff that you can build stuff with!

Paintin on plexiglass or any plastics can be a pain in the.....well,you know.....leastwise if'n ya want the paint to stay on....lol....it takes more prep to paint plastics, but having said that i've painted windshields on sportbikes....there not too bad as long as I can prime and paint the whole thing and not try to leave it so you can still see thru it.

Feel free to contact me at bikepainter@sbcglobal.net to talk more Lowrider.

I coach my kids sports teams, football and basketball. I still play rec. league basketball, but am getting a little old for that. And I coach football at the middle school I work at and I'm in the booth on a headset for the varsity...

I know this thread is a little old,but i was thinking about hobbies today...lol...my wife says I have too many..hahaha....and she's right

first off,
kingfisher- that airbrushing is absolutely amazing.....Im an artist myself and dabble a bit with an airbrush, but your work blew me away....very,very,nice work!!....i dont own an airbrush, but im looking to buy a small set up in the future.

I just started oil painting back in december.....after i decided to not tattoo professionally anymore...i still tattoo, but only on friends and family...got tired and burnt out with dealing with a-holes and drunks, and people whining about the price.....(why would you ever argue with the guy thats about to tattoo you?)......plus its too stressful and expensive too keep up.

Im also an extended range bass guitarist.....Ive been playing bass for over 14 years...playing 4,5,6,and 7 string bass guitars....aside from trying to complete a solo bass album I play full time with Primal Circus
http://www.myspace.com/primalcircus

I use to give private lessons for free, but now i just dont have the time, but i love teaching and sharing knowledge on bass guitar....

I host at least two poker games a month......love my poker!!
Im a avid disc-golf player (for the exercise, and its incredibly fun)
I help write and create characters for a friend who's trying to get a cartoon off the ground (adult swim genre)..its a sloooooow process since he is still in school for animation...haha,but its still fun
I collect joker cards.
Im just learning photoshop,so that will soon become a small, regular hobby.
making lures (even though i suck at it)
i spent eight years on pool tables trying to go pro.(wishful thinking)..but quit playing due to making more money in poker,lol...but i can still play a mean game of 9ball,one pocket, straight pool, and any other billard game you can think of....i still play, just not seriously anymore.

heres a couple of the first oil paintings i did...plus one of the last tattoo's i did for a friend.....the oil painting of the portrait is my wife....not too terribly bad for a beginner painter.

I really have no hobbies other than fishing right now. It's all I have time for with my job. I used to take a lot of pictures, but nowadays, it's pretty much my "take fishing" camera. I need to make the gym a hobby, for sure.

Fishing is my only clear cut hobby, other than that I read a lot of comic books and watch cartoons based on said comic books, I'm on 3 forums, I like to play with swords but can't buy real ones and I have no one to fight (I still like em'), I play videogames but not much anymore because I can't afford a current generation game system or the games for them anyway (I have better things to spend my money on.)

Also my 8 year old brother likes star wars a lot so him and I fight with plastic lightsabers.

I like making costumes for whenever I can dress-up at school.

I guess that's about it.

Do you make your own fretboard or get them pre-stained and ready for the frets to be installed? I've been thinking about building one. Attatching the truss rod and getting the right angle on the neck sort of scares me though. I'm not too sure of the electronics either.

And I thought you might find this interesting. This is the time lapst edit of this guy building an accustic, but he has severl videos on his page with the long process of building it and shaping the wood. Pretty cool.

I don't make my own necks yet.I usually pick them up on ebay.Sometimes I buy a neck and reshape the headstock.I have someone cut out the body as in the case of the Diddleyphone and the Jag-Stang.Thanks

Yea, I think when I do it, I'll most likely find a neck already set up. At least for the first one anyway.
