Depends on currant.
I rarely go bigger than 1/4 oz. 1/8 and 3/16 oz is what I use mostly. small worms -6" and under- I go with 1/8oz. Now bulky tube style baits: hula grub, paca craw, bushhog, flapping craw,ect.. I use 3/16 oz...

As to when I slope in to the small worms during the summer and the winter..

Woody cover?? I personally would pound it with a blade or crank bait before working it with a plastic bait or jig..

Try Rage Craws or Rage Shad.

Try deadsticking a jig with a 3" chigger craw trailer. get it into a good spot in a laydown, and let it sit there, maybe moving it a couple inches occasionally. I'd let it sit for a couple minutes, only moving it a couple times.

As for BPS's shipping times, why don't you just go to BPS? You're not that far from the Toledo one.
