Default 1 more for the spinning crowd

I built this one on a Castaway 822 M-F blank, Aero real seat, American Tackle guides, a little aluminum bling, did a little groovy work in the EVA, and minimal thread work (Whew, take a breath). I really liked this rod, it felt very nice with my reel and casted with little effort. I ran a micro guide set up past the first 3 guides and it was smooth as silk. It weighed in right at 4 oz.

Looks good man! Simple and classy. My next spinning rod will definitely have the Aero seat, so much more comfortable. Nice build.

I think I am going to try the TN handle on my next one personally. I got some pretty good information from Mr. Bill on them and might try it out.

10-4 on that, great idea. The other thing I've thought about is not using any grip material at all, just a nice round seat. I hold a spinning rod at the seat anyway. You could do the same thing with a small TN handle though. Food for thought.

Thats another great looking rod Garey. Anymore, I think we've come to expect nothing but the best of your work. And you never disappoint us. Well done my man!

Do you need someone to test it out for you? I'll offer my services not only for this rod, but others you build too.

Sweet rod though.
