Default Bad weather

Tornadoes are dropping all around us today. We've dodged everything, so far, as have everybody we know, but it's not over yet. I know there's been at least 4 within a few miles of us since about 4 this afternoon.
We've got blankets and pillows waiting for us in the bathtub, just in case.....

You guys in Mississippi were hit hard yesterday and again today from what I saw on the news tonight. Seems that the last three years have been bad for tornadoes, I'm not envious of you southern boys during the spring storm season. Glad to hear you weren't affected and I hope your luck continues and are spared any up close tornado experiences.

Thanks, guys. It's past us now. Several tornadoes stayed on the ground for a long time, but they went either north or south of us. One or two got pretty close to a couple of my cousins, but everybody's ok.

I'm so glad your family is safe and made it through it ok. Many did not and my thoughts and prayers go out to them. Looks like another bad day is ahead across the south today.

Yup....round 2 starts early this afternoon, they're saying. It shouldn't be nearly as bad as yesterday, but there may be some tornadoes or hail here and there.

Yeah, there wasn't hardly anything happening yesterday. It didn't develop like that thought it would. Some warnings south and east of here, but nothing major.
Reports say there was 26ish tornadoes in MS and AL Monday.

Looking on this map, there's a red #1 in the middle of MS. I live right above the red tornado track going through that #1, about half way between that track and the next one a little farther north.
There's another track due west, at Vickburg, right on the river. That one went within a couple of miles of my parents, my wife's mom and stepdad, and her dad.
3 of my cousins and several very good friends live extremely close to where the tornado track going through the #1 ends.
The two tornado tracks in the far east/northeast of AL are really close to where Bama lives, too.

That was one crazy day....
