Default today on tuckertown

water was "normal" and 64 air temp was 39 at blast off.
the fish were shallow i caught 8 bass 3 keepers big 4.5 came on a buzzbait...

i shot this heading in to the cemetry ramp about a 5 mile run.-bout liked to have froze my hand off doing..

when i punch it in 25 feet of water the long straightway is 25-30 feet deep in the channel.-which i am running-between the mountains it gets 20-25 feet deep. when i turn left i enter a creek only 10 feet deep..the big flat on the right is 3 feet deep and stump filled.. i seem to run this same run in the pitch dark of night most of the time..-yeah i know it well-

Was at Tuckertown on Saturday. Launched from Hwy 49 ramp. Made the long run up towards the bridge & fished wind protected coves. Bout to froze on the way up. Water was 66. Boated 7 with largest at 4 lbs. Chart/white spinnerbait & 2-5 foot bandit & manns cbs just above grass. High winds made water rough in the main channel.

next time you want too hit the indian dam launch from flat creek. the turn for it is just past the 49 launch -right- first right passed the church. on to a rough azzed black topped road. taked the first right after you pass over the lake again-you can't miss this-launch at end of road..

from flat creek/cemetry launch the rocks are 4 miles up stream..unlike the 12 miles from 49..

Now ya see, I need to live in country like that! Beautiful! But my roots are pretty well planted in these flatlands so I guess I'll stay a pond jumper. Thanks for the pics though.
