Default Weekly Lake Fork Fishing report

Well, the weather has been something else. This is a weird year for the Month of May. This weekend looks to bring a little rain but normal temps. There was a new wave of fish moving up today. There were fish every where today. We caught them on Wave worms weightless and Crawdudes, lipless crank baits, Lake Fork Tackle Ring fries and twitch worms.
The key was slime or grass just under the surface. One minus crank baits have been good along spinner baits. The Horny Toad was another good bait. The top water action has been on again and off again. We have been covering a lot of water to get bit. Buzz baits have been good some mornings around grass and the cat tails.
The crappie have still been shallow and some are out deep. The water temp is about 69 but it is according where you are at.
The fishing is going to get better any day and the top water action is going to be good. The fish are moving in two by two and the egg laying want take long.
I still have some May dates open if you are wanting to go fishing give me a call.
