Pointers on getting Pike

I fish a deep clear lake in upper lower Michigan. There are a lot of Pike in my lake and was wondering if you guys can give me any advice on how to get them.

Yes, fish for bass and the damned things will bite your lures when you do not want them to. ;D They hang out in the same places bass do, find weedbeds and points with feeder creeks on them and fish jigs, tube baits, spinnerbaits , topwater baits and you will catch them. They also spawn in the creeks the same bass do . In the fall and winter time fish bluffs or sharp breaks with baitfish or Kalin grubs. I hope this helps, P N J

well use spoons the devel ones and big triple blade spinners bass will stay away from them.

pike are one step above mentally retarded. one of the dumbest and easiest to catch game fish. Many a time i've cursed pike for wrecking perfectly good twitchbaits. Had a Heddon balsa twitchbiat that was killer on bass, and i had a 28" pike come and thrash it enough to effectively end its use for me. I'd throw a big Rapala Husky Jerk, silver color, maybe Tennessee shad pattern, and make it look wounded. Twictch, pause, twitch, pause. for sure you'll get a pike on it. Other lures to try: Mepp's #5 Aglia spinner, Strike King Wild Shiner, Storm Thunderstick, and the good old Daredevle.

i alway have caught my pike on a black spiner bait or a pink,white and green spinner bait

Do wat basser_37 said ive caught tons of pike off of drop offs in michigan with a husky jerk. Just find a nice drop of and do a twitch, reel, twitch retrtieve.
