Default Catfish

Hey yall, i am getting to take a guided catfish trip in the morning (as soon as i leave work in 4 hrs. and 15 min) Wish me luck! When i asked them how they were doing they said that every day they have been catching their limit. Here is the service we are using:

http://www.txcatfishguide.com/cedar_creek_catfish.html

I will let you know how we do!!

When you get a chance, go to www.whiskerkitty.com and take a look at their forum. Jackie has some pictures on there of some monster bluecats that he has caught. His user name is jackieblue.

BFG,

Glad you did well. What kind of cats? Up here all we have is channel cats, but I'm pretty sure you have more down there.

Hey, Marty,

We caught mostly blue cats. There were one or two channel cats caught.

I don't think Texas has a limit. Their lakes are so over abundant on cats that they don't have to worry about it. Plus, they have a very involved Wildlife service down there that stays on top of things. The best thing I have seen down there are almost all of the people that catch anything over 20 pounds always catch and release so they can spawn. The bigger the fish, the more eggs they will put out during spawning season.

Hey BFG, what were you guys catching them blues on? If I'm thinking correctly, Jackie likes to use fresh, live shad and fresh cut shad for bait.
