Well, I've been making some purchases lately upgrading my equipment, not that my old stuff is bad. Well between yesterday on ebay Bought a Shimano Calais, and today at Roguerods, I bought 2 rods, same company that use to supply the blanks for Kistler, but a lot cheaper ;D), and then I bought some stuff from Cablela's including a Quantum Synergy Spinning reel, and a travel bag(for fishing the tourneys, and a rod bag. Plus all the baits, etc.. So it's up over 1k in the last 2 days . The good news is that I don;t need to upgrade anymore, unless I break something, and most of what I bought was upper end stuff, with good warranties. Anyone else been going crazy with the spending.

Took the boat in for a new water pump impeller, new plugs (Platinum tip, can you say OUCH) computer diagnostic (160 hours on the motor) check brake pads and brake fluid, and 5 gallons of Mercury "Super lube" for the Optimax motors. The "Bait Gorilla" trashed a $500.00 bill. When did boat mechanic flat rate go to $80.00 an hour??? (OWIE, OWIE, OWIE)
This is in addition to $95.00 worth of high priced gas to get there and back!!!

Stay in school, get a good eduction, get a good job in a field that interests you and apply yourself. Before you know it, you will have the money to pursue your intrests (Or a wife that pursues her intrests)

yep got a new fenwick hmx rod $129 new quatumptx reel $200, new ss prop $235 shipped. boat insurance 250,and one-lol-dt4.

this will kill 800 no problem.

Over this winter I let the bait monkey use me. But I tricked him and only bought when things were on sale. Kistler 7ft. MH bait casting-25% off. St Croix 7ft M bait casting-$20 off. Three curados Wally World sales-2 for $69 and 1 for$25. One curado super free for Christmas from girlfriend. Two all star rods from Dicks for $19 apeice, one Med. one Light. One falcon 6ft $19.00 baitcasting Med. Wally world sale. A couple of other rods from wally world sale to use as back-ups, $3.50 to $12.00. One Garcia 4000 round baitcasting, wally world for $25. Most of the plastic baits I bought on sale anywhere I could find them. I did pay regular price for a spinning reel. I'm done and ready for this year.

well thanks to lizard's genorosity, I shouldn't have to spend much at all on fishing this year.

I'm honestly looking for work. I've already applied at some grocery stores and keeping an eye on gas stations and pizza places.
