Default Rod build 5-30-2010

6'6'' MHX med-lite /fast blank built with Fuji alconites..Guide sizes were 20,16,10,6,6,6,6,6-6tip....This thing is a finesse machine!
Thread is Madeira silver and green..Because of the silicone content in the thread I used three coats of color preserver to really seal it in to avoid fish eyes in the epoxy that can happen with this thread.
Aero reel seat and my groovy grips.Forhan locking wrap on the large guides and normal locking wraps on the running guides.

Dang! That's a sweet looking rod you've got there!

What reel you plan on pairing it up with?

Waffle, that sure is a unique color you have there. A real eye catcher! You certainly develop your skills a little more with reach rod you build.

Dang! I totally love the color scheme! Perhaps because it reminds me so much of one of my favorite heroes, Green Lantern. As for the reel, it seems to scream curado, but I would think the tone of the curado BSF would look nicer.

Pat yourself on the back for such a beautiful job.

Thanks guys for all the compliments...Im definitely finding new ways to make it easier and better ways to lay down the epoxy for a smoother finish...
But I really like the way this came out..nothing to complicated, just focusing on cleaner work overall.
