Default Nice Weather!!

Well its finally looking and feeling like spring around here. 58 was the high today and looks like its here for a while. So Its time to get the gear out and get the old boat ready. Still got some work to do on it so it will be a while for I get it out on the water but hey, there is always shore fishing until then right?!?.

Beautiful here too! Around 55 degrees. I got out to the lake for an hour or so casting off shore. Waters very high right now. Didn't catch a thing, and lost a chatterbait and a jig, but still it was good to get out and do a little casting again.

There was a bit of a chill by me today, no higher than 45 or so, but I went out for about 3 hours this morning.

I cant wait for the water to warm up so those fish start fu.... i mean "spawning"

That was purely in jest, if anyone needs me to edit it I will do so

Remember I live in SD. 6 months straight winter. So 58 being the high this early in march is a blessing.

Its settled into the mid 70s for the past week. We just got a ton of rain, my days off are coming. Was planning to visit an naturally muddy lake, will probably do so anyways. Sometimes you just feel like going somewhere even if you know the conditions wont be optimal.

Hey guys....here in Maine it's still just above freezing...in some spots....still below in alot...the ice is still 2 to 3 feet thick on the lakes. April 1st is the beginning of open season here, but we'll be lucky to fish off the bank let alone launch a boat....it will get here sooner or later though..

It finally got to almost 60 here, and the mid 50s at the NYC reservoirs. Got 3 spinning setups ready to if I can get out on Saturday. If not, it's next week for sure.
