Default Double weedguard jig heads

I'm curious about these new jigs like the Nu jig and the Medlock jig with the double weedguards, but I like to make my own jigs. I was wondering if anybody knew of anyone selling just the jig heads. Probably too soon for that. Thanks,
Jesse

NuJig does now.
It's refered to as Naked Head.

Actually Bo, the originator is a member hear I believe.
MollysFarms Knows the young fella I believe.

If not there are numerous here that are close to him and or his business. So they know ALOT more than I do.
There maybe I thread addressing those jigs around here now.

Tav, I thought Tackle had them but like a dummy I looked under NuJig .
All of them that I got are 'Alphas'.

So, someone want to help me with my confusion.
They are both from or associated with Bo.
So are they the same just new name?
Tackle still has stock of old Alphas?
The Naked heads are identical and Bo's the one in the video. The original we discussed with Molly long before Tackle started carrying them had Bo and his guillotine.
Fact I think I posted on them when Tackle first started selling them.

So anyone want to share?

I'll let Merc explain it if he cares to. I guess for now it will have to sufice to say that things don't always work out like you think they will.

It does look like it has a smaller hook on it than most. I've never heard of any problems with hook ups so I suppose it's not an issue. Thanks for the link.

Joe, the guys that Bo was in business with to manufacture and distribute the jigs under perfect strike brand have gone thier seperate ways. It seams that the Perfect strike boys were not living up to the contract agreements to market the jigs the way they agreed to. Bo split from them and retained his patent. The perfect strike group can still sell the jigs they have, but Bo will now sell several sizes of his jig plus new baits that he is coming out with under the Nu Tech name.

i will put a bit more clarification on this. perfect strike still has the rights to sell a 3/8 jig with bristles. i took everything else back. the medlock jig is infringing on the trademarks. actually if medlock was making the jig anytime back it was infringing on the patents that were in effect. i will deal with them sometime soon. www.nutechlures.com is up and running. we have 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 oz. sizes available. you may also just purchase the heads without skirts. these also have a bigger hook than the perfect strike models. hope this will clarify some of the confusion. also my models only have the solid guide arms(weedguards). they are the orginal design and much better then bristles. i think pro reel can back me up on that.

thanks

bo

Bo, thanks for your help.
And thank you for making the jigs.
I use them.
I like them.
Everything you or pro has shared is very accurate.
The colors and skirts are great.
The paint is pretty good and lasting good even on rocky train.
I want and need the 1/4 oz.
AND I think your video on 1/4 ozs with a bullet head lead sinker is a GREAT idea.
When I get the 1/4s (more) I'm going to use tungsten bulletheads with them and I'm excited to try them that way.
Molly's sent me a couple of 1/4s from your stash...I believe because I kept bugging him.
Last Christmas numerous anglers got them as gifts from me and many will this year!

So should I or can I get the new 'breed' from Molly's or should I go through nutech?
Oh and I got to ask, did you bring powder coating to the lure industry....need to answer my own trivia question.

molly and i have combined to form nutech lures, llc. so, you need to order from nutech. yes, i did bring powder coat paint to fishing lures in the late 80's when the nujig was viper. i also introduced silicone skirts on jigs. viper was the first to individual bubble pack a jig. the hook that is in the viper, i designed back in the middle 80, and it is the first hook of that size to use a downsized barb. of course over the years the industry has followed suit on everything i brought oubo

Bo,
Thanks for the info. Sounds like you revolutionized the lure industry, specifically the jig industry several times over the years. Awesome stuff indeed! I look forward to ordering from you in the near future and trying out your design, and good luck with your company.
