abu garcia cardinal
i decided on trying out the new abu garcia cardinal this year. i was wondering if anyone could help me out on the specifics i'm not sure about all the different models and types.. i fish lakes and ponds small to large and also some resevoires.. also i was wondering what rod i should order with it?? do you think the all star 7' medium would be good or what?? thanks for the help

jonny-if you are not familiar with the reels, I'd suggest going somewhere that sells them and handle it. You will know real quick if you will like it or not when you handle it.

any suggestions on rods with the abu garcia though?? i heard good things from kistler but also all star?? any suggestions??

if you get the abu get the cardinal C3 (it is awsome i used it bass fishing in florida) ant the medium action 7' rod would be fine
the pflugger is an awsome reel as well that is what i use for spinning reels but the abu is great as well but i am saying that because those are my brands of choice every one will have there own opion

MH on the rod IMO. Kistler's are light, but very brittle.
