Default buzz bait

are those spinnerbaits that you buy at walmart for like a doller any good or do thay such

another question i had was is i dont know it it is just my buzz bait or all of them but with mine you have to reel it half way in before it even comes to the top or do i need to get a new buzz bait

Your blades either aren't well tuned or they aren't any good. If you want one that comes up fast, try a prop blade style.

Start reeling the instant the bait hits the water. The quicker you start reeling the faster it comes to the surface.

My first question would be are you sure you are throwing a buzzbait and not a spinnerbait? And I acually either start cranking before the Buzzbait even hits the water or give it a quick rod pull while reeling fast to get it started on top. Many different brands have different weights also. A twin prop buzzbait will be easier to reel slower generally speaking. But the ones I use are even better, because they actually have a floatable material with the twin prop blades, so you can almost inch them over the water if needed

I love the one dollar spinnerbaits at walmart!! I throw them into ANYTHING and I dont feel bad if I loss it. They catch fish too!! lol. I got 5 bass on a yellow walmart spinnerbait this weekend. One was 3 pounds and another was 2 1/2. Good fish. They bend really easy but you can just bend them back and they work fine.

I would agree with the others, make sure the blades are good but most of all I start to reel it in just before it hits the water. As far the the walmart spinner baits go is I have cought fish on them before.

those buck a spinnerbaits are good for the price, plus they come in handy when you need spare parts for your more expensive spinnerbaits, like skirts, swivels, blades..etc

what about the doller buzz baits and do the more expensive buzz and spinner baits catch more fish because i hate spinnerbaits and i was woundering if it is because those doller ones dont catch as much fish because those are the only ones i get i figured they were just as good as the expensive ones

Ya have to be careful on homemade buzzbaits and some spinnerbaits,
they are cheaper in price usually due to lack of quality components..for instance cheap buzzbaits may not have good rivets and other weed guards, which can be frustrating after a few throws.

check out the bottom shelf with all the riverside plastics, you'll see wallyworld buzzbaits and spinnerbaits, if the stores buyer stocks them, most are stocked up local purchasers, so content may vary

Try tuning the buzzbaits by tying them to your car/truck antenna. I've had alot of luck doing it that way. It beats throwing that thing for a few weeks to get in "broke in".

I've used both and had luck with both. But, it will be one of those two that I reach for everytime. I don't have a personal preference between the two.

no,of course not.i mean its not like there is a cop who asks you your skill level and then saying o,you cant get these.its just that the bait monkey gets stonger when you get more into bass fishing;causing you to buy more expensive stuff...
